October was a very exciting Month. We
made a scarecrow for the town contest, and won honorable mention.
The youth went to camp Pioneer. A big Thanks to Kristen
Crawford for driving us and helping the entire weekend. A thousand thank-you's to her! We
had a lot of fun, and all became closer in our relationship with the Lord. A very
successful weekend.
Thanks to all who helped us out, and bought calendars, we
still have some left, so if anyone would like to buy one see me or any youth member.
We cleaned out the old store room, and after sauerkraut
supper, we will be starting to work on the walls, and get them prepared to be painted. Our
Goal is to get the room finished by the end of the year. So we will be meeting every
Friday night, starting Nov. 9th from 7-10pm, to do a little work each time, and then to
watch a movie. Fridays will become fun nights for our Youth. It gives them a place to
socialize in a safe enjoyable environment. All Youth are Welcome to attend and to bring a
friend or two.
The Youth will be helping with the sauerkraut supper on
Nov. 6th.
December: We are planning to purchase gifts again this
year for the Action Angels Accord Program. We have a great group of kids, and the good
Lord has truly blessed us with a supportive congregation! We will continue to grow and
glorify His name.
