Notes Election Results From Nov. 25, 2007
Installation of Officers will be held during the Sunday, January 6 Worship Service |
Ladies Aid Our last meeting of the year was our Christmas party. All the ladies brought two dozen cookies & toys for distribution by the Salvation Army. After a short business meeting we packaged up 19 plates of cookies for our Lutheran shut-ins. We also enjoyed sampling some of the delicious cookies with a glass of egg nog. Shelly Dunne volunteered to take the box full of toys, hats and mittens to the Salvation Army office. We then divided the chore of getting the cookies, which were accompanied by a Christmas card, to their destinations. January, February and March meetings will be held on the first Friday afternoon of each month at 1:00pm. Respectfully submitted, On Dec. 6, 2007, nine members and guests Pastor Morris, Fred and Sally Dannheim and Gary & Jean Rushmore met in the Dorcas Room for our Christmas Party. Jean’s decorations were beautiful as usual, and we enjoyed the good food and fellowship. After returning thanks, June gave several readings. Because of conflicts with the dates, our next meeting will be April 3, 2008 with Larry and Marge Vossler & Eleanor Cott on the committee. Submitted by
