A NOTE FROM DCO BETTY

Come Holy Spirit ComeUpdate on Sheba and the orphans: The effort to raise funds for the land continues. There have been several articles in various newspapers across western New York and northern PA. There was a deposit of $25,000 sent to Sheba on Christmas Day. (Actually the day before). She emailed us back with the following message.

“Thank you so much for sending $ 25,000.00 for the land, today I received a phone call from our Bank that your money was credited into CCM account. I am very much thankful to God and Grateful all the churches for their help for the land. Today I called Pastor Boda and I informed him about the money which we received. He was so happy too, he said he will contact land owners Saturday. All orphans children cried for the great gift and we will pray everyday till we pay full and total amount.

Sheba.

You will also find enclosed in the TELCO a newsletter that Sheba sent to me. Please take a moment to read about what is happening at their current location. This is indeed a huge undertaking, but this is clearly God’s love in action. Please continue to pray for Sheba and Pastor Christopher Boda, who is negotiating the land purchase. In India, the owners of the land will not negotiate with a woman; therefore, Pastor Boda has graciously offered to help. Remember, also, those working diligently here to raise the funds. Pray that people’s hearts will be open and the Lord’s will be done. And finally, please remember the children in your prayers. If you have any questions, please contact me and I will be very happy to talk with you.

May our Loving Heavenly Father continue to watch over us, guide, and direct our Outreach here at Trinity. May God strengthen our faith through Worship and Holy Communion. Author Robert Webber reminds us “Worship renewal does not consist of moving chairs or pew in a circle, rearranging the order of worship, or finding new gimmicks. The heart of worship renewal is a recovery of the power of the Holy Spirit, who enables the congregation to offer praise and thanksgiving to God.

Your Servent in Christ

Betty
